T4: So when you got this part in the T.V. show daid you think 'This is gonna be strange' or did you think ' Hey! This is gonna be really cool!'?

David: I'm playing, like this swift boxer, y'know. This 242 year old vampire with a conscience, and it was like 'Wow! It's gonna be cool.' Y'know. (laughs) And it it just, eh, I think the character was, it had some substance, it does, and it just took off, y'know. It's a fun thing.

T4: So you're called Angel but you're a Vampire. How do you explain that Paradox?

David: The way he got his name was he killed his family. And he killed his little sister, and he came back to kill his father and his father saw his daughter killed in the corner and he looked at her and he said that she looks like a sweet angel. And I heard Angel and said ' hmmmm - that's an interesting name.'

T4: How do you syke yourself up to be a guy who goes and bites people?

David: Y'know, he's a vampire, but he's not a vampire. I don't go around biting people, I don't go around sucking necks, or I don't go around wearing capes and flying, y'know. I'm not hiding around corners or sleeping in coffins. I'm not a stereotypical quote-unquote vampire.

T4: Do you believe in vampires?

David: I don't nessesarily believe in vampires, I just believe in all the mythic kinda, I think that it's just a myth thing, I think that eh, that the whole unknown aspect of it is more or less apealing than anything else.

T4: Angel does do some mad, mad stunts though. Do you have a double or are you like 'No, no, I'm gonna do it all'?

David: No, no. I have a double. I'd like to do as much as I can but, alot of the stuff, no, I don't do, no way. It's just, it's too crazy.

T4: So T4 is bringing over to the U.K. What kind of thing can we expect?

David: It's gonna appeal I think, more to a male audience as well as to a female audience. Alot of great gadgets, alot of great car chases, alot of speed, um, beautiful women,eh, great action so there's suspense, drama. It has alot of elements goin' on for it.

T4: So Angel's kinda seeking reddemption through helping others. Has he become a private eye?

David: So to speak. I mean I wouldn't consider him really a private eye. I think that he investigates a scene from these visions his friend gets and then he, eh, takes them on.

T4: So, do you just look after vampire cases now?

David: No, no. He's helping everybody. He's helping everyone that needs help.

T4: So is Buffy gonna be crossing over and appearing on Angel?

David: Yeah, she will be.
