Synopsis:
Xander asks Buffy out to the Spring Fling, but she doesn't feel
"the thing". Buffy overhears Giles telling Angel that
she is destined to die when she faces the master. She is shaken,
but eventually decides to take him on anyway. The annointed One
leads her to him and he bites her and dumps her in a pool of
water. Buffy is dead and the Master has risen, thus fulfilling
the ancient prophecy. Xander and Angel find her and Xander
revives her. Back at the school the Hellmouth is opening - a big
demon is pushing through. Buffy battles the master again,
impaling him in a huge spike of wood. As he dies the Hellmouth
closes. Buffy, Angel, Willow, Xander, Giles and Jenny all exit
the library together, leaving the 'Master bones' to be dealt with
another time.

Good old Joss Whedon delivers a fantastic episode with

series.
